Youth soccer players in Southern Utah can benefit from over 50 years of coaching and training experience at Jeff and Stu’s Friday Night Finishing sessions.
Jeff provides a unique perspective as a former college goalkeeper and now a goalkeeping coach.
The sessions will be run by 7 Elite Academy coaches Jeff Lochner and
Stuart Dewey, with the focus on developing key fundamentals of shooting and ball striking at all abilities.
Jeff Lochner is Head of Goalkeeping at 7 Elite Academy in Utah and has been coaching young people for 28 years. He played at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas.
Stuart Dewey has been coaching youth soccer in the region for over 25 years and won a National Championship with his 01 Boys in 2018. He was also named UYSA Coach of the Year in 2019.
Jeff said: “Stuart and I are excited we can bring our Friday night sessions to youth players in St George starting August 7th at Little Valley.
“We will be helping players improve their skills in the crucial final third of the field. This is such an important part of any young player’s game.
“Using our experience in youth soccer and the development of many players at the college level, we have designed a training plan that covers all aspects of scoring goals.
“With the new season coming up in a few weeks, this is the perfect time to fine tune your striking abilities and be ready for the Fall season.”
The sessions cost just $120 for a four-week block of sessions, with individual weeks available at $40.
Times available are: U15/U16 from 4pm-5.30pm, U11-U12 from 5.45pm to 7.15pm, U13/U14 from 7.30pm to 9pm
Jeff added: “We are offering this program to all youth soccer clubs in the area and to make sure everyone has the chance to benefit from these sessions.”
