Tournament launch for 2023

2022

Registration for the 7 Elite Academy International Tournament has opened – and teams are being urged to take advantage of ‘Early Bird’ offers throughout August.

The competition takes place at venues across Southern Utah and Nevada from February 2nd to 4th 2023 and attracted a record total of 270 teams in 2022.

Tournament organizers are confident of smashing that number next year after being inundated with requests for registration from teams across the United States.

REGISTRATION COSTS ARE:
Pre-Academy: $200
U9-U10: $865
U11-U12: $915
U13-U14: $965
U15-U19: $1015

Prices quoted are for check payments – there is an additional charge for credit card payments.

The 7 Elite Academy International Tournament hosts teams from Pre-Academy through to Under-18 levels, alongside entertainment and food options for families.

Nick Nield, Tournament Director, said: “The 7 Elite Academy International Tournament is fast becoming one of the biggest youth soccer competitions in Southern Utah, with more and more teams every year.

“As an event, we want to attract the biggest and best teams, which in 2023 will include leading clubs from across our region and beyond. Every single game will be a true test for players.

“We are running Early Bird offers for early registration, but there will be a cap on those numbers so teams need to get their name down to qualify. After the offer ends, fees will return to normal.

“The quality of soccer on show is always improving and I am confident that in 2023, we will stage another record-breaking tournament.”

All 11v11 matches will be in St George and 9v9, 7v7 will be in Mesquite.  That means Under-13 and older games will be in St George.

The tournament features top-class referees from across the United States, as well as penalty shoot-outs at the end of each game for an extra point.

Anthony Godfrey, Global Technical Director at 7 Elite Academy, said: “The 7 Elite Academy International Tournament is always a red letter date in our calendar.

“It is an exciting time for us as an academy, as we get to see teams from across the United States face each other in a highly competitive atmosphere.

“We are working hard to create a tournament that will leave a lasting legacy for the players who take part. Every element of the 2022 event has been closely analysed and will be improved upon for 2023.
