7 Elite Academy is offering youngsters the opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing international soccer and youth development programs in Utah at tryouts this spring.

Players who join will access exclusive coaching and college scholarship initiatives designed in conjunction with the best universities and professional clubs in the region.

7 Elite Academy trains thousands of players in the United States, United Kingdom and Africa, and runs one of the biggest international soccer tournaments in Mid-West America.

Hundreds of former players have progressed to some of the most prestigious colleges and universities the world, as well as signing full-time contracts at professional clubs in the United Kingdom.

Tryouts get under way in Salt Lake City on May 19 and run until May 20 for 2018 to 2014 age groups, before 2013 to 2007 age group sessions from May 27 to May 30.

Tryouts for all ages in Southern Utah will take place during the week from June 2 to June 6th in St George, with sessions also running in Utah County.

7 Elite Academy’s international Player Pathway development program also includes regular opportunities for youngsters to train, play and study in the United Kingdom.

Anthony Godfrey, Global Academy Director, is looking forward to seeing even more players take up the unique opportunities available at 7 Elite Academy in Utah and beyond.

He said: “We have seen hundreds of young people benefit from our youth development and educational programs, helping them to access college scholarship opportunities and full-time contracts at professional clubs.

“That is something we are proud of here at 7 Elite Academy. Giving young people the best possible start in their soccer and education careers is so important to their future prospects.

“Tryouts are a chance for youngsters to see if they have what it takes to not only compete for a place in our teams, but also demonstrate they have the work ethic we demand of all players.

“Our coaches are fully qualified to USSF, UEFA and FA standards, and many have experience of working at some of the world’s biggest clubs. That gives them a unique perspective on global coaching standards.

“Part of those standards is the level of hard work and focus that is required. Although all players must enjoy playing soccer, we also know that talent alone is never enough to succeed.”

Every coach at 7 Elite Academy is given access to some of the finest coaching development tools in soccer, including The Coaches Voice and Sports Session Planner.

These tools allow staff to plan training sessions and games to ensure players are tested to their full potential every week and get the opportunity to impress watching college coaches and professional recruiters.

Anthony added: “We invest heavily in professional coaching tools that help our staff to give players the best possible experience, both in terms of playing the game and how they conduct themselves away from the pitch.

“Every professional soccer player in the world has a clear plan of conduct and preparation that helps them to perform in every training session and game. Here at 7 Elite Academy, we follow that philosophy closely.

“Not only does that help youngsters to prepare for a career in soccer, but it also sends out a positive message to educators and scouts.

“By creating a professional mentality at all levels, we are giving the young people we work with the best possible start to their soccer and education journey.”
